Sean Blakemore is an American actor. He was born on 10 August 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He is known for his long-running role as Shawn Butler on the ABC daytime drama *General Hospital* (2011–2016, with later returns), for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2012 and won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2016. Other television credits include *The Quad* (2017–2018) as Eugene Hardwick, *Greenleaf* (2018–2020) as Phil, *All Rise* (2022–2023) as André Armstrong, and guest appearances in series such as *Star Trek Into Darkness* (2013) as a Klingon, *Scorpion* (2014), *Bones* (2005), *NCIS* (2003) and *MacGyver* (2016).

His film work includes *Ad Astra* (2019) as Willie Levant, *Spinning Man* (2018) and *Pet* (2016).
