Sean Frye is an American former actor. Born on 16 September 1966 in Hollywood, California, he appeared in films and television from the mid-1970s until 1988.

Frye is best known for playing Steve in *E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial* (1982). His other credits include the role of Billy in *Fun with Dick and Jane* (1977), appearances in *Little House on the Prairie* and *For Keeps* (1988), and work as wardrobe consultant on *Valley Girl* (1983). He is the son of actor Virgil Frye and half-brother of actress Soleil Moon Frye. Frye was married to Rita Saguin from 1987 to 1992.
