## Biography

Sean Murray is an American actor. He was born on 15 November 1977 in Bethesda, Maryland.

Murray is known for playing Special Agent Timothy McGee on the CBS series *NCIS* (2003–present). He first appeared in the role in season one before becoming a series regular. Earlier credits include Thackery Binx in the film *Hocus Pocus* (1993) and Danny Walden in the series *JAG* (1995).

He is the stepson of television producer Donald P. Bellisario, creator of both *JAG* and *NCIS*. Murray is the longest-serving main cast member on *NCIS*.
