## Biography

Sean O'Connor is a British producer, director and writer working in film, television, radio and theatre. A graduate of the Regional Theatre Young Directors' Scheme, he has directed productions at venues including the Liverpool Everyman, Salisbury Playhouse and Chichester Festival Theatre.

O'Connor is the author of the book *Straight Acting: Popular Gay Drama from Wilde to Rattigan* (Cassell). He produced the BBC radio serial *The Archers* and directed the UK premiere of Dorothy Parker's *The Ladies of the Corridor* and the first London revival of *Children in Uniform*. In 2010 he founded Camberwell Productions to make his first feature film, *The Deep Blue Sea* (2011), which he produced with Kate Ogborn.
