Ryan played Buzz Crocker in the children's horror anthology series *Are You Afraid of the Dark?* (1992) and Young Glenn Age 12 in the biographical film *Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould* (1993). His other credits include the role of Billy in the horror film *Puppet Master II* (1990) and appearances in *Goosebumps* (1995) and *In the Mouth of Madness* (1994).
