## Biography

Sean Stanek is an American actor, director and writer, also credited as Sean Faro. His early acting credits include the role of Hot Rodder in the 1984 film *Starman*, a greaser in an episode of the television series *The Wonder Years* (1988), and an assistant director (as Sean Faro) in *Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story* (1993). Other appearances include uncredited work in *Cannonball Run II* (1984) and roles in *Shade* (2003) and *Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield* (2007).

As a young man, Stanek performed as an acrobat in the Seven Alexander's teeterboard act, of which his parents were founders. He later worked as a visual effects coordinator on *Titanic* (1997). Stanek wrote and co-directed the feature *A Crack in the Floor* (2001) and wrote, directed and served as cinematographer on *Played* (2006), for which he received the Best Screenplay award at the 2007 Malibu Film Festival. He has also worked in motion capture production and direction for films and video games.
