## Biography

Seth Reed is a production designer and former art director. He holds a master's degree in architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and practised architecture for ten years before moving into film and television. His first Hollywood credit was as a set designer on the 1993 western *Tombstone*.

Reed has worked as production designer on the Apple TV+ series *For All Mankind* (from 2019), *9-1-1: Lone Star* (2020–2021), *The Gifted* (2018–2019), the miniseries *The Long Road Home* (2017) and *Shut Eye* (2016). Earlier credits as art director or supervising art director include *Minority Report* (2002), *Real Steel* (2011), *Fight Club* (1999) and *Tombstone*.

He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for art direction on *Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey* (2014) and an Art Directors Guild award for *From the Earth to the Moon* (1998). He has also received ADG nominations for *For All Mankind*.
