## Biography

Seton I. Miller (also credited as Seton Ingersoll Miller) was an American screenwriter and producer. A graduate of Yale University, he began writing for films in the late 1920s and collaborated frequently with directors including Howard Hawks and Michael Curtiz.

His credits include the dialogue and continuity for *Scarface* (1932), the screenplay for *'G' Men* (1935), *Kid Galahad* (1937) and *The Sea Hawk* (1940), and the screenplay (with Norman Reilly Raine) for *The Adventures of Robin Hood* (1938). He shared an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for *Here Comes Mr. Jordan* (1941). Miller also worked as a producer on several films in the 1940s and 1950s.
