## Biography

Shakka Philip, known professionally as Shakka, is a British singer, songwriter and record producer. He composed the music for the E4 comedy series *Chewing Gum* (2015–2017), working with creator Michaela Coel on original tracks for both seasons.

Philip released his debut major-label EP *The Lost Boys* in 2015, which included the single "Say Nada". He received MOBO Awards for Best R&B/Soul Act in 2015 and 2016. His other credits include soundtrack contributions to films and series such as *Work It* (2020) and *Man Down* (2013).
