## Biography

Shane Abbess is an Australian filmmaker who works as a director, producer and writer. He began his career making short films, commercials and music videos before directing his feature debut *Gabriel* (2007), which he also wrote and produced.

Abbess directed and wrote *Infini* (2015) and *Science Fiction Volume One: The Osiris Child* (2016). He has served as executive producer on *Terminus* (2015) and *Better Watch Out* (2017), and as producer on *Beast* (2026). For a time he was attached to direct *Source Code* and *The Dark Crystal 2*.
