Shannon Cochran is an American actress. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, she graduated from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and has maintained a long association with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. Her stage work includes originating roles in world premieres such as *Bug* and appearances in productions at the Goodman Theatre and Writers' Theatre.

On screen, she played Anna Morgan in *The Ring* (2002) and Senator Tal'aura in *Star Trek: Nemesis* (2002). Television credits include guest roles in *Grey's Anatomy* (2006), *The Office* (2005), *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (2004), *Fringe* (2010), *Modern Family* (2016), *NCIS* (2014) and earlier appearances in *Star Trek: The Next Generation* (1994) and *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1994–1997).
