Sheila O'Brien (9 October 1902 – 26 January 1983) was an American costume designer. She began her career as a seamstress at Paramount Pictures before moving to the costume department at MGM, where she worked as a dresser on *The Wizard of Oz* (1939).

O'Brien established herself as a designer in the 1950s. She frequently collaborated with Joan Crawford, providing costumes for *The Damned Don't Cry* (1950), *Sudden Fear* (1952, for which she received an Academy Award nomination), *Johnny Guitar* (1954) and *Female on the Beach* (1955). Her other credits include *Goodbye, My Fancy* (1951), *The Deadly Companions* (1961) and *Never Too Late* (1965). She was active in the industry from 1939 to 1965.
