## Biography

Sheu Fang-Yi, also credited as Sheu Fangyi or Hui Fong-Yi, is a Taiwanese actor, dancer and choreographer. Born on 15 September 1971 in Yilan County, she trained at the Taipei National University of the Arts and became a principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York.

She has appeared in several films, including *Touch of the Light* (2012) as Teacher Hsu and *The Assassin* (2015) as Princess Jiacheng / Taoist Nun. In 2022 she starred in and choreographed the autobiographical film *Salute*, for which she received the Golden Horse Award for Best Action Choreography.
