## Biography

Shih Chun (also credited as Chun Shih or 石雋) is a Taiwanese actor. Born in Tianjin, China, he graduated from National Taiwan University with a degree in animal husbandry before entering the film industry.

He made his screen debut as a leading actor in King Hu’s *Dragon Inn* (1967) and went on to appear in several of the director’s wuxia films, including *A Touch of Zen* (1971) as Gu Sheng-zhai, *Raining in the Mountain* (1979) and *Legend of the Mountain* (1979). He is also credited as the Young Noble in *Ghost of the Mirror* (1974).

Later credits include a cameo in Tsai Ming-liang’s *Goodbye, Dragon Inn* (2003) and a role in Hou Hsiao-hsien’s *The Assassin* (2015). In 2012 he received a Golden Horse Lifetime Achievement Award.
