## Biography

Shinji Takagi (高木 真二) is a Japanese suit actor. He portrayed Godzilla in the 1973 film *Godzilla vs. Megalon*, becoming the first actor to play the character after Haruo Nakajima's retirement from the role.

Takagi's other screen credits include appearances in the television series *Kii Hantâ* (1968) and *Edogawa Rampo shirîzu: Akechi Kogorô* (1970).
