## Biography

Shinosuke Tatekawa (立川志の輔) is a Japanese rakugo performer and actor. Born Teruo Takeuchi on 15 February 1954 in Shinminato, Toyama Prefecture (now part of Imizu City), he trained under the seventh-generation Tatekawa Danshi and is affiliated with the rakugo Tatekawa school.

He provided the voice of Lord Inbe no Akita in the Studio Ghibli film *The Tale of The Princess Kaguya* (2013). He also voiced Bruno in *Poupelle of Chimney Town* (2020) and has appeared in other films including *The Island of Cats* (2019) and *Dreaming of the Meridian Arc* (2022).
