Shintaro Shimosawa is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He was born in Chicago, Illinois.

He wrote an episode of the series *Smallville* (2006). His other writing credits include episodes of *The Dead Zone*, *The Following*, *Intelligence* and *Fear the Walking Dead*. As a producer he has worked on *The Grudge* (2004), *The Grudge 2* (2006), *Fear the Walking Dead* (2018) and *Texas Chainsaw Massacre* (2022). He directed the feature *Misconduct* (2016).

He is Head of Production at Bad Hombre.
