Siân Héder is an American filmmaker, writer and director. She was born on 23 June 1977 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and graduated with a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Héder wrote for the series *Men of a Certain Age* and for seasons one to three of *Orange Is the New Black* (2013), on which she also directed an episode. She made her feature debut as writer and director with *Tallulah* (2016).

Her film *CODA* (2021), which she wrote and directed, won the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. She has also directed episodes of *GLOW* and *Little America*.
