## Biography

Sid Dorfman (1917–1988) was an American television writer and producer. He wrote five episodes of the CBS series *M*A*S*H* between 1973 and 1977, and nine episodes of *Good Times* from 1976 to 1978. He created the short-lived sitcom *One Happy Family* (1961), for which he wrote eleven episodes.

Dorfman also contributed episodes to series including *Alice*, *Crazy Like a Fox* and *The Love Boat*. He received a Writers Guild of America nomination for episodic comedy for his script on the *M*A*S*H* episode "Private Charles Lamb" (1974).
