## Biography

Sigmund Neufeld Jr. (1931–2022) was an American television director and editor. He began his career in the late 1950s as a composer and sound editor on the series *Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans*. He was the son of producer Sigmund Neufeld and nephew of director Sam Newfield.

Neufeld directed numerous episodes of series including *Kojak* (1975–1976), *The Incredible Hulk* (1978), *Wonder Woman*, *Buck Rogers in the 25th Century*, *Galactica 1980*, *Simon & Simon* (34 episodes), *T. J. Hooker* and *The New Lassie* (15 episodes). He also edited 21 episodes of *Kojak* (1973–1975). His feature directorial work includes the 2002 film *Behind the Badge*.
