## Biography

Simon Chapman is an Australian cinematographer. He began working with images as a teenager in Brisbane before studying at the Queensland College of Arts and graduating from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Sydney in 2002.

He has served as director of photography on episodes of *Doctor Who* (2018) and *Gentleman Jack* (2019). His other television credits include *Lost in Space* (2018–2021), *Upload* (2020–2025), *Space Force* (2020–2022) and *Avatar: The Last Airbender* (2024). Film work includes *The Loved Ones* (2009) and *The Little Death* (2014). He is based in North America.
