## Biography

Simon Mayhew-Archer is a British television producer and writer. He produced the BBC Three mockumentary series *This Country* (2017–2020) across all three series and contributed to the story on several episodes. He also produced the earlier BBC Three sitcom *Josh* (2015–2017).

He began his career in BBC radio comedy before moving into television. After *This Country*, he left the BBC to co-found Camden Productions and later launched Mayhay Studios, his own scripted comedy production company. He has served as executive producer on series including *Such Brave Girls* (2023) and *Funboys* (2025–2026), and created, wrote and produced the BBC One sitcom *Can You Keep a Secret?* (2026).

Mayhew-Archer is the son of comedy writer Paul Mayhew-Archer. *This Country* won a BAFTA Award.
