Simon McQuoid is an Australian film director and producer. He was born in Perth, Western Australia.

McQuoid began his career in advertising and directing commercials before making short films. He made his feature directorial debut with *Mortal Kombat* (2021), which he also produced, and returned to direct and produce its sequel *Mortal Kombat II* (2026). He is also attached to direct the science fiction film *Omega*.
