## Biography

Simon Mirren is a British television writer and producer. He began his career writing for British series including *Casualty*, *Spooks* (2002) and *Waking the Dead*.

He later worked on American series such as *Without a Trace*, *Third Watch* and *Criminal Minds*, where he also served as producer and director. Mirren co-created and produced the historical drama series *Versailles* (2015–2018). His feature film writing credit is *G:MT – Greenwich Mean Time* (1999). He is the nephew of actress Helen Mirren.
