## Biography

Simon Smith is a British film and television editor. His credits include episodes of the series *Andor* (2022) and *The Last of Us* (2023), as well as *Chernobyl* (2019), *3 Body Problem* (2024), *Spaceman* (2024) and the television film *Help* (2021).

Smith began his career as an assistant editor on British series including *Utopia*, *Patrick Melrose* and *A Royal Night Out* (2015). He has also directed short films and worked as a producer. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors.

For his editing on *Chernobyl*, Smith won a Primetime Emmy Award and a BAFTA Craft Award. His work on *Andor* earned an ACE Eddie Award.
