## Biography

Sjur Aarthun is a Norwegian cinematographer and editor. He worked as both cinematographer and editor on the disaster thriller *The Tunnel* (2019).

His editing credits include *Kraken* (2026), *Dark Windows* (2023), *NightMare* (2022) and *Dark Woods II* (2015). As cinematographer he has worked on films including *Dark Woods II* (2015) and *Leave* (2022), as well as television series such as *Pørni* (2021–2024) and *Home Ground* (2018). He received an Amanda Award nomination for Best Cinematography for *Dark Woods II*.

Aarthun co-founded the production company Handmade Films in Norwegian Woods in 2013.
