Skip Woods is an American screenwriter, film director and producer. He wrote and directed the black comedy crime thriller *Thursday* (1998).

Woods has primarily worked in the action genre. His screenwriting credits include *Swordfish* (2001), *Hitman* (2007), *X-Men Origins: Wolverine* (2009), *The A-Team* (2010), *A Good Day to Die Hard* (2013), *Sabotage* (2014) and *Hitman: Agent 47* (2015). He also received an uncredited writing credit on *Live Free or Die Hard* (2007) and has produced several of his projects.
