## Biography

Skipp Sudduth is an American actor and director. Born on 23 August 1956, he studied biology at Hampden-Sydney College and received an MFA in acting and directing from the University of Virginia.

He began his career in theatre, joining the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago and appearing in Broadway productions including *The Grapes of Wrath* and *Twelfth Night*. His film roles include Larry in *Ronin* (1998). He is best known for playing NYPD officer John "Sully" Sullivan in the television series *Third Watch* (1999–2005).

Sudduth has directed episodes of series such as *Third Watch*, *ER* and *Criminal Minds*. He is the brother of actor Kohl Sudduth.
