## Biography

Slavko Vorkapić, also credited as Slavko Vorkapich, was a Serbian-born film director, editor and montagist who worked in Hollywood from the 1920s. He arrived in the United States in 1920 and reached Hollywood the following year, initially working as a painter and actor before specialising in montage sequences and special effects.
