Soledad Jiménez was a Spanish actress who appeared in around sixty-five Hollywood films between 1928 and 1953, frequently in uncredited or supporting roles as mothers, grandmothers or maids, often in Westerns.

Born on 28 February 1874 in Santander, Spain, she emigrated to the United States and made her screen debut in *The Red Dance* (1928). Her early credits include *In Old Arizona* (1929) as Tonita the Cook (uncredited). Later notable appearances were as a mourner (uncredited) in *Frankenstein* (1931), Mrs Donati in *Kid Galahad* (1937), Guillermo's wife in *For Whom the Bell Tolls* (1943) and roles in *North West Mounted Police* (1940) and *Hold Back the Dawn* (1941). She died on 17 October 1966 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California.
