## Biography

Sonia Hosko is a Canadian producer and production executive. She began her career in feature films, working as an assistant on Atom Egoyan's *Adoration* (2008) and Brian De Palma's *Redacted* (2007), and in production roles on Sarah Polley's *Away from Her* (2006).

Her producing credits include the documentary *Stories We Tell* (2012), directed by Sarah Polley, on which she served as producer for the interview with Michael Polley. She has produced or served as co-executive producer on Canadian television series including *Rookie Blue* (2010–2015), *Saving Hope* (2012–2017), *The Detail* (2018), *Burden of Truth* (2018) and *Coroner* (2019–).

In 2021 Hosko was appointed Vice President, Current at Cineflix Studios, where she oversees scripted production and development with a focus on the Canadian market. She is a co-creator of the Lexa Pledge, which promotes positive LGBTQ+ storylines in television.
