## Biography

Sonja Klaus is a London-based production designer whose credits include the BBC series *Taboo* (2017) and the feature film *& Sons* (2026). She began her career as a set decorator before moving into production design.

Her set decoration work includes *Gladiator* (2000), *Lara Croft: Tomb Raider* (2001), *Kingdom of Heaven* (2005), *American Gangster* (2007), *Robin Hood* (2010), *X-Men: First Class* (2011) and *Prometheus* (2012). As production designer she has worked on *A Good Year* (2006), *Babylon A.D.* (2008), *Terminator: Dark Fate* (2019), *The Aftermath* (2019) and the series *A Christmas Carol* (2019), *The Power* (2023) and *Great Expectations* (2023).

Klaus won a British Film Designers Guild award for *Taboo* and has received further nominations from the guild. She is a member of BAFTA and AMPAS.
