Sophie Vavasseur is an Irish actress and television presenter. Born in Dublin on 10 May 1992, she began her career as a child performer with stage work and commercials before making her screen debut.

She is known for her title role as Evelyn Doyle in the 2002 film *Evelyn*, for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination, and as Angie Ashford in *Resident Evil: Apocalypse* (2004). Subsequent credits include *Becoming Jane* (2007), *Northanger Abbey* (2007), *Exorcismus* (2010), Princess Ellisif in the series *Vikings* (2013), *Flora and Son* (2023) and *Mr Malcolm's List* (2022). She has also appeared on stage at the Gate Theatre and presented the fashion programme *Love, Style, Repeat* (2023).
