She appeared in around 86 films between 1908 and 1926, often in exotic or seductive roles, and also directed the 1917 short *L'Héritière de la manade*. She began her career as a dancer with the Folies Bergère and made her film debut in 1908. Napierkowska is noted for her performance as the ballerina Marfa Koutiloff in Louis Feuillade’s serial *Les Vampires* (1915). Other prominent roles include Queen Antinea in Jacques Feyder’s *L’Atlantide* (1921) and Salome in several productions.
