## Biography

Stan Salfas is an American film and television editor. He has been active since the mid-1980s and is a member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE).

Salfas began his career in New York before moving to Los Angeles. He edited *The Underneath* (1995) and collaborated with director Matt Reeves on *The Pallbearer* (1996). He later served as supervising editor and occasional director on the series *Felicity* (1998–2001).

With William Hoy, Salfas won Satellite Awards for Best Editing for *Dawn of the Planet of the Apes* (2014) and *War for the Planet of the Apes* (2017). His other credits include *Let Me In* (2010), *Chernobyl Diaries* (2012), *Now You See Me 2* (2016), *Venom: Let There Be Carnage* (2021) and *The Deliverance* (2024).
