Stanley Roberts (born Stanley Lowenstein) was an American screenwriter. He began his career in the 1930s writing for B-Westerns, initially credited as Stanley Lowenstein, before adopting the Roberts name.

His notable film credits include the screenplay for *The Caine Mutiny* (1954), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay; *Death of a Salesman* (1951); *Song of the Thin Man* (1947); and *Come September* (1961). He later wrote episodes for television series including *Bonanza*, *Mannix* and *Hart to Hart*.

Roberts was born on 17 May 1916 in New York City and died on 22 April 1982 in Beverly Hills, California.
