## Biography

Steen Schapiro is a Danish film editor, director and teacher. Born in 1967, he is based in Copenhagen.

He served as the main editor on all three seasons of the Danish thriller series *The Killing* (2007, 2009 and 2012). Schapiro has edited numerous other television series for Danish broadcasters, including *Seaside Hotel* (2013), *Tidsrejsen* (2014), *Juleønsket* (2015) and *Theo & Den Magiske Talisman* (2018), as well as feature films and documentaries.
