## Biography

Stefan Ciupek is a German cinematographer, camera operator and colourist. Born on 24 March 1976 in Zossen, he began working in digital cinematography in the early 2000s. On Alexander Sokurov’s *Russian Ark* (2002) he served as one of the editors, camera supervisor and colourist.

Ciupek has contributed to numerous international productions, often in digital imaging and second-unit roles. His credits include camera operator on *Slumdog Millionaire* (2008) and *127 Hours* (2010). He has worked as director of photography on *Guns Akimbo* (2020), *The Super* (2018), *Rumours* (2024) and *Vampire Academy* (2024), among other films.
