## Biography

Stefan Pleszczynski is a Canadian film and television director, producer and screenwriter. He is an alumnus of Concordia University and Simon Fraser University. Before directing, he worked as a location manager on films including *Squanto: A Warrior's Tale* (1994) and *Johnny Mnemonic* (1995).

Pleszczynski has directed episodes of numerous television series, including *Being Human* (2011–2014), *Flashpoint* (2008–2012), *Motive* (2013–2015), *Supernatural* (2014–2016), *The Flash* (2015–2023), *Killjoys* (2016–2019) and *Transplant* (2020–2024). He has also served as a producer or executive producer on several of these programmes. His feature film credits include *L'Espérance* (2004).

He has received Canadian Screen Award nominations for direction and series, including a win for Best Dramatic Series for *Transplant* in 2022. Pleszczynski lives in Montreal and is married to screenwriter Bernadette Gogula.
