Stefan Walz is a Swiss actor born in 1963 in St. Gallen. He trained in acting at the Konservatorium Bern.

He is best known for his role as a taxi driver resembling Sigmund Jähn in the film *Good Bye, Lenin!* (2003). He later appeared as a police officer in *Undine* (2020).

Walz has had an extensive career in German theatre, with engagements including the Kammerspiele Landshut (1992–1998), Staatstheater Mainz (2006–2014) and Wuppertaler Bühnen from 2014. He has also worked in television since 1995.
