## Biography

Stephani Lewis is a costume designer. She studied theatrical costume design at the University of New Mexico and graduated with a degree in Design for Performance. While a student she interned on local film and television productions; after graduation she worked as a set costumer and seamstress before becoming an assistant costume designer.

She moved to New York and served as assistant costume designer on films including *Sugar* (2008), *Blue Valentine* (2010) and *The Place Beyond the Pines* (2013). In 2010 she began work as costume designer on the independent film *Beasts of the Southern Wild* (2012), for which she received a Costume Designers Guild Award nomination. Her subsequent credits as costume designer include *Swiss Army Man* (2016), *Sinister 2* (2015) and the series *Ozark* (2017–2022).
