## Biography

Stephanie Kornick is a television, theatre and film writer. She served as a staff writer on the Amazon series *Transparent* (2014), writing two episodes across seasons three and four.

She previously worked in support roles on series including *United States of Tara* (2009), *Are You There, Chelsea?* (2012) and *Mistresses* (2013). Kornick holds an MFA in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Northwestern University and a BA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. Her feature screenplay *Candy Darling* is in pre-production.

Kornick has developed original projects with networks and studios including HBO and Universal Content Productions. Her play *Small Talk* premiered in Los Angeles and was later staged in Chicago. She is an Assistant Professor of Film and Television at the University of Colorado Denver.
