## Biography

Stephanie Maslansky is a costume designer whose credits include numerous television series. She designed the costumes for the first season of *Marvel's Daredevil* (2015) and continued with other Marvel Netflix productions including *Marvel's Jessica Jones* (2015), *Marvel's Luke Cage* (2016–2018), *Marvel's Iron Fist* (2017–2018) and *The Defenders* (2017).

Born in New York City and raised in Minneapolis, Maslansky studied art and photography at UC Santa Cruz and earned a BA in South American history and Italian literature from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She began her career in the costume shop at the Guthrie Theatre before moving to New York, where she studied at the Art Students League and worked as a stylist before transitioning to costume design for film and television.

Her earlier credits include *Oz* (1997) and *White Collar* (2009–2014). Later work encompasses *Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan* (2018–), *City on a Hill* (2019–2022) and *The Walking Dead: Dead City* (2023). She received the Designing Women Award for *Jessica Jones* season one from NYWIFT and Variety, and has spoken at WonderCon.
