Stephanie Sengupta is an American television writer and producer. She was educated at Carleton College, Washington and Lee University and New York University, and previously worked as a trial attorney in New York City.

She began her television career on *Law & Order: Criminal Intent* and has contributed to other series in the *Law & Order* franchise, including *Law & Order* itself. Sengupta is a co-creator of *Reign* and has written episodes of *The Good Wife*, *Hawaii Five-0*, *Criminal Minds*, *Ghost Whisperer*, *Resurrection*, *NCIS: New Orleans* and *FBI: Most Wanted*.
