## Biography

Stephen McCrum is a British television producer and executive producer, primarily associated with BBC comedy series. He has worked on numerous sitcoms, including serving as producer on *Mrs Brown's Boys* (2011–2015) and *Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie* (2014).

Earlier in his career, McCrum produced *Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps* (2001–2008), *Mongrels* (2010) and *Grownups* (2006–2007). He later took executive producer roles on series such as *This Country* (2017–2020), *Josh* (2015–2017), *Bluestone 42* (2013–2015) and *Such Brave Girls* (2023). He is credited with discovering the stage version of *Mrs Brown's Boys* and championing its adaptation for television.

McCrum has received one BAFTA Award among three wins and five nominations in total.
