He is known for recurring roles as Jeremy Santos on the Comedy Central series *Broad City* (2014–2017) and as Ty Wyland on the FXX series *You're the Worst* (2014–2017). Other television credits include *The Righteous Gemstones* (2019–2023) as Stephen Downes, *Lucifer* (2019–2020) as Anders Brody, and *St. Denis Medical* (2024) as Chaplain Steve. Film roles include Ron in *Bumblebee* (2018).

Schneider has been married to actress Jenn Proske since 2013.
