Steve Gainer is an American cinematographer, director and producer. He was born on 25 October 1962 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

His cinematography credits include *Bully* (2001), *Mysterious Skin* (2004), *Punisher: War Zone* (2008), *Super* (2010), *A Haunted House* (2013) and segments of *Movie 43* (2013). He has also worked as a camera operator on films such as *Donnie Darko* (2001).
