## Biography

Steve Glazer, also credited as Steven Glazer, is a Florida attorney who represented Aileen Wuornos in several of her murder cases in the early 1990s. He had previously worked as a public defender and handled the adoption of Wuornos by Arlene Pralle before taking on her criminal defence. Glazer appeared as himself in the 1992 documentary *Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer*, in which he is shown negotiating media access and fees, and in its 2003 sequel *Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer*.

Prior to his legal career Glazer worked as a musician. He has been interviewed or appeared in later television programmes about the Wuornos case, including episodes of *Murder Made Me Famous* (2018), *Executed with Deborah Norville* (2019) and *The Way to Go* (2024). Contemporary reporting described him as a colourful figure who also featured in his own television advertisements under the name 'Dr Legal'.
