## Biography

Steve Hoefer is an American television director and former stage manager. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in theatre, also studying film, television, communications and history.

Hoefer began his career as a tour guide at Universal Studios Hollywood. He worked as a production assistant on *The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air* and as a stage manager on *Boy Meets World*, where he made his directorial debut in the show's final season. He has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 1992.

Since 2000, Hoefer has worked extensively with Nickelodeon, directing episodes of *Drake & Josh* (2004), *Zoey 101* (2005), *iCarly* (2007), *Victorious* (2010), *Sam & Cat* (2013), *Henry Danger* (2014) and *Game Shakers* (2015). He also directed episodes of Disney Channel series including *Jessie* (2011) and *A.N.T. Farm* (2011).
