Steve Kornacki is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the production department on films and series in the 1990s, later working as an assistant to the writers and production coordinator on *The Sopranos*.

Kornacki joined *Boardwalk Empire* as a staff writer in 2010 and was promoted through story editor and co-producer roles. He wrote six episodes of the series across its run, including the first-season episode 'Belle Femme' and the fifth-season episode 'King of Norway'. He received a Writers Guild of America Award for Best New Series in 2010 for his work on the show.

His other writing credits include episodes of *Bates Motel* (2013), *Outlander* (2014) and the television film *Outlaw Prophet: Warren Jeffs* (2014). He has also served as a producer on series including *Chance* and *Marvel's Jessica Jones*.
